Until 3 years ago, I used to be a perfectionist. Research had to be thorough; execution perfect π―.
As a result, I was in the research phase for a LONG time and hardly executed anything π©π»βπ». This included my nutrition, work, and lifestyle.
It made my life fairly uneventful with moments of sheer terror and stress π΅π€―. For a while it was fine... until it was not.
The lack of consistency and organisation drove me nutsπ°π₯. I was constantly stressed, and I felt like it was me against the world, in a bad way.
After one final crash, I decided to do something about it. I got myself a plannerπ, one that would help me schedule but also gave me the ability to reflect on my week and break my big goals down into many small, doable stepsβπ».
Not going to lie, I still have moments of sheer terror and stress (Iβm only humanπ€·π»ββοΈ), but theyβre far fewer these days.
And Iβm now able to execute my plans often and consistently. When I do face a wall, instead of panicking, I adjust accordingly.
