Hi there! My name is Abigael. Being physically active was always part of my life; whether it be weights, racket sports, Karate, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). It was during my time with martial arts Karate and BJJ did I encounter sports with weight-classes. Because of the restriction in weight, I had to either maintain or cut weight. So, I tried several diets to compete in my targeted weight division. 

Over time, I realised my overall health and performance are not just about controlling what I eat in the short run; but consistently eating what my body needs for optimum performance and health in the long run.

With a BSc in Biochemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST), I pursued knowledge through Advanced Certificates and Advanced Diplomas in courses including Clinical Nutrition, Sport & Exercise Nutrition from HKU Space to broaden my exposure and understanding on the purpose of food and their effects on the human body.
