I was just talking to a friend the other day, and I had a 💡 moment!
There was a point in my life where I was trying so hard to get lean by
⏱️Increasing exercise hours
⚖️Checking weight
📝Tracking food
I kept that up for at least 2 months. The scale would just not budge. So I 🖕🏻this plan, and moved on.
A few months later, I was getting comments from people saying I lost weight. I was confused.😕 I wasn't trying to drop weight.
But then I looked at my old photos. My body was more defined and my face less puffy.
I FINALLY GOT LEAN WHEN I STOPPED FOCUSING ON GETTING LEAN! 🎯
Instead of focusing on the scale, I was making sure I was
🍎Getting enough nutrition
🏋🏻♀️Training smart
💧Drinking fluids
😴Getting quality sleep
All these contributed to me now having the body and lifestyle that I am HAPPY with!
Because the main focus wasn't on the scale, it was NOT stressful! I didn't let a number define me or choices. It was a revelation! 🥳
