Part of the reason I donât like restrictive diets is because they tend to tell you what you CAN and CANâT eat.
Imagine thisđ.
Letâs say you wanted to lose weight, and so you decide to cut off some of your favourite snacks including đŠđŞđ§đ. Initially itâs fine; but as the weeks go by, you start to miss your đŠđŞđ§đ. You hold on because you have a goal weight to meetđŻ.
After months of holding out you reach your weight. Youâre relieved and happyđ! And finally you reward yourself with some đŠđŞđ§đ.
You eat whatever you want for the next 2 weeks. 2 weeks go by and you go back on the scale only to find youâve gained back the weight that took you months to lose and then some đ.
This scenario doesnât have to be a reality.
đ đťââď¸ You do NOT have to completely deprive yourself in order to achieve your goal. You CAN eat what you love â¤ď¸ and still lose weight with the right strategies đ.
