WHAT WEIGHT TRAINING DOES TO YOUR BODY

I knew I was never going to be skinny, and I didn't want to.

But I wanted to be relatively lean đŸ’ȘđŸ» and capable of doing whatever I wanted until a ripe, old age đŸ‘”đŸ». I didn't want my surgery leg to buckle whenever I turned a corner đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïž.

Having friends in the fitness industry helped. We discussed and came up with a plan that mixed my BJJ training đŸ„‹ with weights đŸ‹đŸ»â€â™€ïž.

Not gonna lie, it took months to get results, and sometimes during the process I wanted to quit. I didn't đŸ™…đŸ»â€â™€ïž. And it's totally worth it.

I got more toned, and more confident in how I looked😃. My legs are more balanced and better supportedđŸŠ”đŸ». Now I truly find joy in my trainings and see them as one of my stress relief.

What I'm trying to say is that no matter the reason, adding weight training will benefit most people given the proper form and guide.

For those of you wondering, no you will NOT get big 😉 unless you pair your weight training with a specific nutrition plan.

Comment below with a đŸ’ȘđŸ» if you do weight training!
